Oh, don't you love when April snows
Tickling face and heart and nose?
An April Fool, a wondrous wink,
A kind of wondrous custard drink
For daffodils and other flowers
Sleeping in their garden bowers.
Whirling, swirling, soft and white
Turning Spring into a night
Of crystal dreams and misty light.
Softly falls without a sound
Gently drifting to the ground.
Tomorrow you'll be gone, I know
Oh beautiful, beautiful
April snow!

Job 33: 15,16
In a dream, in a vision of the night
When deep sleep falls upon men
In slumbering upon the bed
Then, He opens the ears of men
And seals their instruction
When deep sleep falls upon men
In slumbering upon the bed
Then, He opens the ears of men
And seals their instruction
God Knows
God sees every flower that grows
He sends each drop of rain
He sees each teardrop as it falls
He feels our every pain
He knows the times when we're afraid
And comforts every fear
For He will never, ever leave
The child He holds so dear.
"Do not be afraid...He will never leave you nor forsake you."
Dueteronomy 31:6

And comforts every fear

Sunset
The awesome sweep of a darkening sky
Reflects His majesty on high
And twinkling stars He calls by name
Sing: Ever creating- yet always the same!
The hem of His garment is all we see
A tiny piece of eternity
Oh! What a thought
That One so grand
Holds you and me
In the palm of His hand
Reflects His majesty on high
And twinkling stars He calls by name
Sing: Ever creating- yet always the same!
The hem of His garment is all we see
A tiny piece of eternity
Oh! What a thought
That One so grand
Holds you and me
In the palm of His hand

Riding the Rapids
The river here is slow and wide
And I desire a faster ride
Ahead I see a foaming stream
A place remembered, like a dream
I rode it once and well I know
The jagged rocks that lie below
The churning roar, the wondrous thrill
A place I'd like to try my skill
But even as I turn, I see
A warning posted on a tree
"Go back- the water is too high
And those who come this way may die"
The water here is wide and slow
And it's the way that I must go
But maybe I'll come back someday
And then I'll go the other way
And I desire a faster ride
Ahead I see a foaming stream
A place remembered, like a dream
I rode it once and well I know
The jagged rocks that lie below
The churning roar, the wondrous thrill
A place I'd like to try my skill
But even as I turn, I see
A warning posted on a tree
"Go back- the water is too high
And those who come this way may die"
The water here is wide and slow
And it's the way that I must go
But maybe I'll come back someday
And then I'll go the other way
